Anyway, jests aside, I hope it's clear that trust and openness are the key elements of effective parental support here. If you can trust each other to be open about what's going on, an app like Live360 is definitely the way forward. We use it and the boys never switch it off even though they can.
They know they can trust us to be open to and able to deal with any issue in their lives so, all-in-all, they've actually given us quite an easy ride as parents.

For what it’s worth, she is getting bullying WhatsApp messages from another girl in school which has made her turn into a hermit, can’t get her out of her room, she won’t eat anything, and all of that stuff. It wasn’t for any weirdo reasons that I wanted access to messages. Cheers all for a laugh though, some funny replies!
